February 2025

Dear Friends,

As you already know, since the war began in Lebanon in October 2024, our community has faced heartbreaking challenges. Thousands of refugees fled to Bourj Hammoud and nearby areas, seeking safety. Many came to us at the church, desperate for help. Together, we welcomed them with open arms, finding them shelter in empty apartments or even sharing our homes.
We started by distributing mattresses, blankets, pillows, food portions, clothes for children, diapers, baby milk, and medicines. Our Life Kitchen team began cooking hot meals daily, and we hosted banquets to make sure no one felt alone.
Now, even though the war has stopped, many families still cannot return home. Some areas in the south remain occupied, and countless homes in Beirut are unlivable. Our kitchen continues to operate four times a week, providing 200 meals each day. Over the last weeks, we distributed 1,000 hot meals weekly and gave 300 families food packages to sustain them.

We are pleased to announce that Lebanon has finally elected a new president, marking the start of a hopeful and brighter future with new political reforms and opportunities. Let us come together in prayer for our leaders, asking for wisdom, courage, and integrity as they guide our nation toward peace, unity, and prosperity. May their decisions reflect justice and compassion for all.

Additionally, we are working hard to ensure the success of our kitchen delivery project, which is currently in its study phase. This initiative will allow us to cook affordable meals and generate funds to support more families in need.

We are also excited to offer discipleship booklets designed to help individuals grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with Christ. These booklets cover essential topics such as identity in Christ, the power of prayer, spiritual disciplines, the role of the Holy Spirit, and sharing the Gospel—providing practical lessons that encourage spiritual growth.

Available in both Arabic and English, these booklets are a great resource for anyone eager to learn more about discipleship, whether they are new to the faith or looking to deepen their understanding. They are also valuable for those who want to teach and disciple others, making them ideal for personal study, small groups, or ministry use.

Your love, prayers, and support have been a lifeline to us during these times. Thank you for standing with us, both spiritually and financially. Together, we are bringing hope to those who need it most.

With gratitude,

Said Deeb
